Romantic trip to St Michael's Mount!
So many lovely places, so little time!
Gobsmacking!! Amazing Eden blew my mind!
There are so many to chose from but here are just a few we would recommend:
For large sandy beaches with lots of water sports there's Polzeath (12 miles), or Newquay (14 miles). For fabulous dunes to explore & huge beach, try Crantock (16 miles).
If you're looking for a quiet, unspoilt haven, there's nothing finer or more secluded than Lantic Bay, Polruan (which also has a lovely walk down from the car park) (20 miles).
There's a multitude of water sports on offer too. For more advice on which beach to choose, just ask Marilyn or Lester.
Historic buildings & gardens
Cornwall is awash with lovely historic buildings to explore. Nearby, there's Lanhydrock estate with beautiful rhododendron gardens, fascinating house and miles of cycle tracks (10 miles), Pencarrow House is just 7 miles away and Cothele (40 miles). If you want history from even further back, there's Tintagel Castle, said to be the Camelot of legend! (18 miles), or the jewel in the crown of Cornwall has to be St Michael's Mount (43 miles, but worth the trip!).
There's plenty more to see. Just speak to Marilyn or Lester for information on other places to visit.
Again, so many to chose from, but try out the pretty harbour towns of Padstow (12 miles), Fowey (17 miles), Charlestown (12 miles), Looe (26 miles) and St Mawes (30 miles).
For larger towns, there's Wadebridge (5 miles), Launceston (30 miles), Lostwithiel (12 miles), or the County Town of Truro, with its magnificent cathedral and great shopping area (22 miles).
For more information please have a chat with Marilyn or Lester.
Cornwall can be a bustling place in the height of Summer, and although it's calm and peaceful here at Tregolls, there's lots of tourist attractions just a short drive away.
Explore and enjoy!
