We are so lucky that Tregolls is just a short drive from the Eden Project. So many of us have visited this iconic attraction but we wonder if you have seen it quite like it is right now!
The stunning Rainforest Biome has been transformed for the run up to Christmas to a Winter Wonderland, complete with snow, Christmas lights and live performances, music and festive fun!
Last year some visitors went down to Eden and reported a fantastic day there including skating on the winter ice-rink, with lovely fair-trade woolly hats which they could not resist from the Eden shop. The little ones had ingenious penguins to push along the ice which gave them the confidence and independence so everyone could relax and enjoy! There was even a flurry of snow whilst they skated (inside?!) and if that wasn't magical enough the ice skating was rounded off with delicious hot chocolates with marshmallows and whipped cream!
Twilight seemed the best time to venture to the transformed Rainforest Biome, where you can fully appreciate the twinkly Christmas lights and some very special additions, which we'd hate to spoil for you! If you think you've "Done Eden" you trully haven't until you have seen it at Christmas!
Once you have exhausted yourselves at Eden, it's just a short drive home to Tregolls where you can kick off your shoes, wriggle those toes and relax infront of the warm log burner and think about what you will do tomorrow.....perhaps a spot of Christmas shopping at one of the numerous Cornish Christmas markets....or Carol singers at Lanhydrock....or......
