After a restful night at Tregolls, you are on the home leg of your wonderful Saints’ Way journey. Just a drive out to Lostwithiel/Lanlivery to pick up where you left off.
Heading off from the A390 just up from Lostwithiel, you’ll be quickly back off the beaten-track! The pretty River Fowey winds through the stunning countryside, and the path meanders alongside and down, through the tiny hamlet of Milltown to the village of Golant – A welcome pint awaits in the Fisherman’s Arms and they will also fill up your water bottles for you too! Fill up, as there’s a lovely but steep woodland walk along the creek. Keep going, because you’re nearly there! Just a long meandering walk back down to the town of Fowey.
There you will be greeted by a typical Cornish harbour town with every food and drink you could want after three days of good walking! Relax, enjoy - you deserve it!
Taxis are available, or talk to Marilyn about the best way to do the logistics!
