Romance of the Roseland walk

We hope you are enjoying your half term break! We've certainly had some lovely sunny weather at times so far and here's a few photographs from the stunning Roseland peninsula on the southern side of Cornwall. This walk is just over 5 miles. This walk takes some stunning coastal paths all the way around Nare's Head, across the fields to the pretty village of Portloe. You start in the National Trust car park near Nare's Head, called Kiberick Cove. We found an abandoned fisherman's hut perched on the cliff, looking out to see. The story goes that the fisherman married a girl from the village, but she was only invited up there at the weekend - he clearly liked his own company! Saying that,
