After a restful night at Tregolls, you are on the home leg of your wonderful Saints’ Way journey. Just a drive out to Lostwithiel/Lanlivery to pick up where you left off. Heading off from the A390 just up from Lostwithiel, you’ll be quickly back off the beaten-track! The pretty River Fowey winds through the stunning countryside, and the path meanders alongside and down, through the tiny hamlet of Milltown to the village of Golant – A welcome pint awaits in the Fisherman’s Arms and they will also fill up your water bottles for you too! Having had a relaxing night’s sleep at Tregolls Farm, in our cosy cottages or bed and breakfast, it’s time to head out for another day’s walking in the beautiful Cornish countryside. You will be treated by a tree covered bridge walk over a babbling brook as you start Day Two. Tempting, though it is to stay and enjoy the moment, it’s time to head off! Our visitors encountered many friendly locals on their walk – not of the humankind, but a menagerie of cheeky goats (we always love goats at Tregolls!!), ponies and pooches all made them very welcome!
