Spring has definitely sprung!
Tregolls is coming to life!
We’ve had a few tantalisingly warm and sunny days recently and the hedgerows that provide such a striking show in the summer months are waking up! Those few pale wild primroses we spotted at the beginning of March are now in all the hedgerows, peeking through the undergrowth by our winding country roads – a sure sign that Spring is definitely here and Summer’s just around the corner – and don’t they look pretty! We’ll keep our eyes out for the bluebells and later the Campion flowers too and let you have a picture when it’s all in full bloom.
Cornish Daffodils are abundant in the gardens and village greens and the gorse up on the moor and around the fields packs a real punch of vibrant yellow against that spiky dark foliage.
Spring is such an exciting season with all the anticipation of those long, warm and lazy summer days ahead….
