Poldark's Cornwall in Series 2
Did you catch the opening dream sequence in Poldark 11th September 2016?
As Ross languishes in Bodmin Gaol, attempting to find the words to write a final letter to his beloved Demelza, he dreams of walking along the golden sands of a sunny Cornish beach, with the turquoise sea dazzling in the background - well who wouldn't!?
We have added more stunning locations to our updated Poldark map, for those who fancy planning a Poldark "Experience" holiday, or merely would like to know where all the drama unfolds.
Tregolls Farm is ideally situated in the heart of Cornwall and in easy reach of most of the locations, whether you wish to tread the streets of old Truro or Falmouth towns (Charlestown), sample the wilds of Nampara House (St Breward) or whip your shirt off for a paddle in Nampara Cove (Porthgwarra/Porthcothan). You could even visit the real Bodmin Gaol to experience the sights, sounds and smells of prison life if you want to get really immersed in your Poldark "experience"!
The National Trust, which owns many of the land and locations used in the series has produced a great "Behind the Scenes" video too....
