Just 5 miles away, Camel Valley Vineyard, boasts award winning (and very lovely) wine! Set in the beautiful Camel Valley, they have Summer Tours, including wine tasting and discovering how the wine is produced. A real treat!

Cardinham Woods

Trails through beautiful woods for walkers of all abilities . There are also some fiendish cyle-trails for the adventurous! By an ample car park you’ll find a lovely children’s play area, next to a cafe. There’s even barbeques for the public to use, just bring coal, matches & a pack of sausages!

Charlestown Harbour

It’s no surprise that Charlestown has been a film-set copious times, with its quiet, pretty harbour, often complete with tall ships. The town also has a Shipwreck & Heritage Centre and its own smokery, where you can get freshly smoked fish & meat. A quiet pebbly beach is great to explore & good food is served at the nearby pubs.
Dairyland Farm World

A favourite place for young children! Dairyland offers the chance to get up close to farm animals, with lamb feeding & a chance to see the milking process. There’s great indoor soft play & outdoor areas and pony riding too!

These stunning gardens take you on mysterious pathways through the woods, with lovely art structures that will enchant all the family. On to a jungle garden before civilisation & a cream tea in elegant more formal surroundings. One garden that ALL the family will enjoy!

As well as the various watersports on off at this picturesque spot, there is also a lovely walk/cycle path to enjoy the views without getting your feet wet – there’s even Segway riding for the adventurous! A nice cafe and children’s play area ensure that everyone gets plenty of exercise and refreshment.
